VICE ADMIRAL EMMANUEL IKECHUKWU OGALA [CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF]
Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogala was born on December 20, 1968. He attended the prestigious Nigeria Military School, Zaria, for his secondary education and graduated in 1987 as the Best Graduating Student. He then proceeded to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, where he earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics and was awarded the Best Graduating Naval Cadet of the 39th Regular Course. He is also an alumnus of the University of Ibadan where he earned an M.Sc. in Strategic Studies in 2015.
Commissioned as a Lieutenant in 1992, he rose through the
ranks and was promoted to Rear Admiral in 2021. He has completed several
notable courses, including the STC NNS QUORRA course in India in 2000, as well
as the Junior and Senior Staff Courses at Jaji in 2001 and 2006, respectively.
He also participated in the ECOMOG Operation in Liberia in 1996.
Vice Admiral Ogalla is a member of the Nigerian
Hydrographic Society, the Nigerian Institute of Management, and the
International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service. He is also a fellow
of the Occupational Safety and Health Association of the UK. On June 19, 2023,
he was appointed Chief of Naval Staff by President Bola Tinubu.
He hails from Umuopu in Igbo-Eze North Local Government
Area of Enugu State and holds the decorations FSS, MSS, DSS, and GSS.
DIG FRANK EMEKA MBA [DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE]
DIG Frank Emeka Mba joined the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet in 1994, undergoing training at the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano, where he graduated as the Best Police Cadet. He is an alumnus of the University of Lagos where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 2001, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. Mba furthered his education with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Dundee, Scotland, graduating with distinction.
Through commitment and hard work, Mba steadily rose through
the ranks in the Nigeria Police Force. After serving as a cadet, he became an
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in 1999. He was promoted to Deputy
Superintendent of Police (DSP) in 2003 and Superintendent of Police (SP) in
2008. He rose to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) in 2012, Assistant
Commissioner of Police (ACP) in 2014, and Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP)
in 2018. He achieved the rank of Commissioner of Police (CP) in December 2020.
In March 2023, he was decorated as an Assistant Inspector-General of Police
(AIG), and on June 16, 2023, he attained the rank of Deputy Inspector-General
of Police (DIG).
He is also an alumnus of the prestigious FBI National
Academy in Quantico, USA, and holds a Certificate in National and International
Security from Harvard University, USA. In addition, he is a member of the
National Institute (mni), having successfully completed the Senior Executive
Course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS),
Kuru, Jos, in 2022. He attended the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme at
the Said Business School, University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
Mba has served as the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police
Force on three separate occasions. He was also a member of the Nigeria Police
Force Peacekeeping Mission contingent to Liberia between 2006 and 2007. Over
the years, he has attended numerous local and international training programs,
including sessions in Washington, D.C., the Lagos Business School, and the
United Kingdom.
DIG Frank Emeka Mba mni, hails from Ezimo

DCM HYGINUS OMEJE [DEPUTY CORPS MARSHAL, FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS]
DCM Hyginus Omeje is the current Deputy Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), overseeing Training. He was promoted to this rank in June 2024.
From 2016 to 2020, he served as the Sector Commander of the
Lagos State FRSC, during which he won the Best Corps Marshal in Nigeria on many occasions for his
outstanding performance especially in reducing road accident, improving safety
of commuters and reducing the notorious Apapa Gridlock.
In 2020, he was promoted to the rank of Assistant Corps
Marshal (ACM) and assigned to the FRSC Headquarters, where he headed the
Operations department. Following his outstanding performance in this role, he
was appointed Zonal Commander of Zone RSQ, overseeing the sector commands of
Kwara, Ekiti, and Kogi States.
Hyginus Omeje is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan,
where he earned a B.Sc. in Health Education.
DCM Hyginus Omeje hails from Eha-Alumona in Nsukka Local
Government Area of Enugu State.
MAJOR GENERAL EVAREST IFEANYI OKORO [COMMANDER OF THE 13TH BRIGADE, NIGERIAN ARMY, CALABAR]
Major General Evarest Ifeanyi Okoro currently serves as the Commander of the 13th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, stationed in Calabar. He assumed this command in January 2021, bringing his wealth of experience and strategic acumen to the position.
In 2023, he was promoted from the rank of Brigadier-General to Major
General, a testament to his outstanding contributions to national security.
Earlier this year, he received special recognition for his proactive
initiatives, particularly for safeguarding Nigeria's territorial integrity
against the potential threat posed by Ambazonian rebels from the Republic of
Cameroon in the previous year.
Major General Evearest Ifeanyi Okoro is from Igugu in
Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
DCG MICHAEL EMEKA DIKE [DEPUTY CONTROLLER GENERAL OF IMMIGRATION]
Dr. Michael Chukwuemeka Dike currently serves as the Deputy Controller General (DCG) of Immigration, a role he assumed following his promotion in August 2024. As DCG, he oversees Border Control, a critical area in ensuring national security and facilitating legal immigration processes.
Dr. Dike has had a distinguished career in the Nigerian Immigration
Service, holding various operational roles over the years. Notably, he served
as the Controller in charge of Seme Border Control from 2002 to 2023, where his
expertise and leadership significantly enhanced border security and management.
DCG Dr. Michael Emeka Dike, MMIN, FIPA, is from
Obimo in Nsukka LGA of Enugu State.
MAJOR GENERAL VALENTINE OKORO [NIGERIAN ARMY HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA]
Major General Valentine U. Okoro is a distinguished officer currently serving at the Nigerian Army Headquarters in Abuja. Over the past two years, he has held command of the two largest Army Divisions in Nigeria: Division 1 in Kaduna and Division 2 in Ibadan. His tenure in these critical positions showcased his exceptional leadership, operational expertise, and strategic vision.
