CP Frank Mbah, mni. T he Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Baba, has appointed CP Frank Emeka Mbah, MNI, as the Commissioner of Police in charge of the Border Control Force. Frank Mbah’s appointment is part of the recent deployment carried out by the Nigeria Police to strengthen the capacity of the Force to better police the country. Frank is a product of the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano, where he finished at the top of his class. He also holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Lagos and a master's degree in law from the University of Dundee, Scotland. He has attended special courses at the FBI National Academy in Quantico , USA; Harvard University in Cambridge, MA; and the prestigious National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru-Jos! He hails from Ezimo in Udenu, the local government area of Enugu State.

Nsukka-born Eze Isaac Onyekachi has emerged as the best graduating student of the 69 regular Course (2022) of the Nigeria Defence Academy Kaduna .  This was announced at the course's 32nd convocation ceremony on October 5, 2022, which was attended by top government and military functionaries such as President Muhamadu Buhari, who was the special guest of honour; Vice President Yemi Osibajo (SAN), who was the guest lecturer; and Defence Minister General Magashi (rtd.), among others. Onyekachi, who studied in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, was named the best graduating student of the 69 courses. Labour Party has announced Prince Emeka Mamah as the Director-General and Coordinator for the Peter Obi/Datti Baba Ahmed Campaign in Enugu State. Samson Chibogwu Ezugworie has been named Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Seplat Energy, the biggest indigenous oil Exploration and Production company in Nigeria. Ezugwuorie joins Seplat with nearly three decades of experience in the oil and gas sector, most of which was spent with oil giant Shell. Prof. James Ogbonna Renowned biotechnology professor James Ogbonna has been named as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Enugu State University of Medical and Applied Sciences, Igbo-Ano, Enugu State. A new book ‘ Eighte en Months in the Neverland, Chronicle of my Daze in Government , written by a former SPA to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Ikem Okuhu, has been attracting a lot of attention from far and wide. Although the book has not been officially released, Ikem had, on September 14th, 2021, released a part of Chapter 7 of the book titled “ Understanding the Governor’s Understanding of development .” He faulted the governor’s adoption of “Nrashi” as his development ideology.
