Prof Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, SAN, OON has been elected as the new Asagba of Asaba. The former DG of Nigeria Institute of Advanced Legal Studies becomes the 14th person to ascend to the highly revered throne. The Asagba-in-council announced him as the chosen candidate among the ten top candidates for the throne. Born on the 13th of November 1957, Epiphany attended St. Patrick Secondary School Asaba for his secondary education between 1970 and 1975. He was admitted to study Law at the University of Lagos and was called to the Bar in 1980. He proceeded to the prestigious University of London for his Master's in Comparative and Shipping Law in 1983. He later obtained his PhD from the London School of Economics. Epiphany spent most of his career as a Lecturer at the University of Benin, University of Abuja and Nasarawa State University. Eha-Alumona born legal sensation Chukwuebuka Christain "Earl" Ogbodo has been admitted to the prestigious Harvard Law School for his LL.M for the 2024-2025 program. The former Templars and Banwo and Ighodalo associate arrived at the Massachusetts Campus of the University in August where he will be researching the Intersection between Finance, Technology and Public Policy.
